ART is a program for data aggregation in the behavioral sciences. Today, many experiments are conducted using a computer that provides a protocol file of the specific answers and reactions of each participant of an experiment. ART has been designed to facilitate the subsequent step of aggregating the single protocols to one file that can be processed by statistical or mathematical software.
Many researchers write a data-aggregation program for each experiment they conduct which can be a tedious and time consuming work. With the help of ART data aggregation can be done without any programming skills. A graphical user interface is provided in order to help the user to define the to-be-extracted variables as easy as possible. The "rules" that are applied in order to extract the variables can be defined with a few mouse clicks.
Data aggregation will not only be more convenient but also less error-prone. I hope that "just trying out" alternative ways of data aggregation and interpretation will be facilitated and lead to new interesting insights in your research.

ART is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8.
ART was also tested to work with Parallels on Apple Macintosh computers.
